Alaska gardens

When the resident is admitted to Alaska Gardens, a multidisciplinary team works with the resident to establish a comprehensive plan of care. The plan includes the establishment of long and short range goals aimed at helping the resident to maximize their potential. The team will typically include the medical director, the attending physician, the director of nursing, staff nurses, certified nursing assistants, a resident care planner, rehabilitation coordinator, recreational therapist, the social services coordinator and a dietary supervisor. Each member of the team and the department they represent becomes active in treating the resident in coordination with the total individual plan of care.

Alaska Gardens provides a “subacute” level of care for residents transitioning from the hospital or extensive services for an indefinite period of time. Innovative nursing techniques and equipment, as well as extensive in-service education, assure our staff’s competence in the newest concepts and trends in medical care.

Our specialties include:

I.V. Therapy

Wound Care
